

Norma Auguste Tannone, daughter of Frederick and Elfriede Nickel, was born February 21, 1934 and died August 21, 2023. She is survived by her son, Mark Tannone (wife Allyson Tannone), daughters Patricia Tannone and Lisa Tannone; grandchildren Christine Matusek (husband Louis Matusek), Alexander Tannone and Hannah Tannone; great-grandchildren Zackery and Jonathan Herlong; and her lifelong neighbor and dearest friend, Dolores McDonald. She was predeceased by her husband Pasquale J. Tannone in 2001. She was born in Port Chester New York and graduated from Greenwich High School, later to attend the Traphagen School of Fashion and work for the advertising agency Ellington and Company as a commercial artist. She married husband Pat in 1955, to have 3 children within the next 11 years. She was a devoted wife and mother, especially for the love and care of her two gifted daughters that she gratefully gave all her time to. After living in Valley Cottage, New York, for well over 3 decades, she and Pat retired to Lake Worth, Florida, for their remaining years. She enjoyed attending the Lutheran Church, making quilts and playing golf. Her legacy will always be her passion for giving of herself to others unconditionally. A memorial service will be held at the Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461 on Saturday September 9th at 3 PM.
