

He was born and raised in Jefferson City, Missouri moving to this area in the 1940' s. He had been a long time employee of Lindsley Lumber Co. He later became a coordinator of construction for Palm Beach County before his retirement 30 years ago. Norton had been a member at the First Baptist Church in Lake Worth and most recently he was an active member at Palm Springs Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Eleanor, grandsons Sami Nachawi and Erin Thomas Banim, and his sister Catherine Knaebel. Norton's survivors include his wife Esther, three children: Evon Lisle, Karen Banim, and Kay Jones. He also leaves to cherish his memory his grandchildren; Karae, Rodney, Kimmeron, Kristy and Ryan Lisle, James Joseph Banim, and Saiid Nachawi, three great grandchildren; Adam Nachawi, Reece and Reid Lisle.
His family will receive friends on Saturday, January 3rd, between 11:00 am & 1:00 pm at the funeral home where his life will be celebrated at 1:00 pm. Norton will be laid to rest immediately following at Pinecrest Cemetery, Lake Worth, Fl. next to his wife Eleanor.
