With the grace and humor that defined her 88 remarkable years, Patricia Ann Paymar peacefully drifted into eternal rest on April 30, 2025, surrounded by the family she cherished beyond all else. Just weeks after her beloved husband Darrell Paymar passed in March, Patricia followed him—her heart full from the love and life she had created, knowing her spirit would live on through the love and laughter she shared with her family.

Born with a spark on September 19, 1936, Patricia lit up every room with her warmth, quick wit, and an unstoppable devotion to the people she loved. Family was her compass, her joy, and her greatest legacy. She leaves behind four wonderful children—Willard, Susan, Sandra, and Kathleen—who carry her strength and spirit in every step. Her heart expanded with every generation, blessing her with eight grandchildren—each a bright light in her life (and occasional partners in mischief)—and eleven great-grandchildren, who kept her young at heart and endlessly entertained.

Patricia was the kind of woman who could whip up a feast, fix a scraped knee, win a card game, and tell a story that left you laughing and crying—sometimes all in the same afternoon. Her laughter was contagious, her hugs healing, and her smile? Timeless.

Though her chair may now sit empty, Patricia’s presence is felt in every family gathering, every shared recipe, every joyful memory. She taught us how to love fully, laugh often, and live well—and for that, we’ll smile every time we think of her.

A gathering for family & friends for Patricia will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm at Dorsey - E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461. A celebration of life service will take place at 12:30pm. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 PM at Lake Worth Memory Gardens.
