Patrick was an outstandingly strong personality. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with him for nearly two years. I had never seen him frustrated or angry or upset. It is fair to say that he is one of the kindest leader I ever had the chance to work with. I will definitely miss spending time with him during our lunch time at the sushi place where we had deep conversation about our profession. He quoted a few times, “He made it through, but really worried about the future of our profession.” Good luck with your new journey Pat.

As a fellow CPA, Pat was a go-to point person for complex accounting matters that were outside of my skill-set. He always tried to do what was right and truly was one of the good guys. He will be missed. Condolences to his family.

Patrick was a solid accounting professional of sound judgment and conviction, focused on quality and the ability to “take the time necessary to do things right the first time.” He had the ability to achieve clarity from chaos, and was the “go-to” person for many of us seeking a second opinion on complex technical matters. His supportive demeanor and balanced temperament made him a natural mentor and beacon to those of us who were fortunate enough to work with and learn from him. Patrick will be sorely missed.

As a fellow CPA, I always admired Patrick and appreciated his guidance during my career. He used his experience to help mentor many younger CPA’s and was very patient in their learning. There were many occasions when client challenges would create a confluence of opinions and Patrick would be the voice of reason. During my many years working for Patrick he would always stand up for the truth, knowing the headwinds it would often create. He provided many professionals with the foundation they needed to build confidence and succeed. Overall, Patrick always looked forward to and enjoyed a good business lunch. If BBQ was an option, it generally prevailed!

Personally, Patrick was always genuine and direct. He enjoyed a good debate about fishing regulations, boat handling and all the related subjects of life in South Florida. I am very thankful for the many years working with him and send my condolences to his friends and family.

Patrick was an extraordinary man. Having worked closely with him in 2016, I always appreciated his kind words and his passion for the accounting profession. Along side Patrick & Angela, I was able to find my passion for auditing and I will always be grateful for that. I will never forget his love for tea and how he made the entire office smell so good after every cup he brewed. Patrick will surely be missed.

I was blessed with the fortunate pleasure to work with Patrick as my company's auditor since 2017. His integrity, spirit and dedication to his craft and clients are second to none. This couldn't be more evident than during a fast approaching deadline to file my public company's financials. As usual, Patrick made himself accessible by answering my call on his cell phone. What I didn't know and what makes this so astonishing is that Patrick illustrating his care and concern for his clients over his own well being took the call while in his hospital bed getting rolled into surgery for his hip! I remember him explaining where he was and that they were ready for him to go into surgery, however was insistent that he take a few minutes to handle my reason for calling. Prepped for surgery and from his hospital bed Patrick not only facilitated what I needed, but apologized multiple times for not being in his office and that his work/clients were his number one concern. I quickly learned at that moment that the person on the other end of the line was no ordinary person! Patrick will be dearly missed!

Patrick was an amazing man. His hearty laugh, quick wit, love of his profession, and fascination with the world left me in awe. He was funny and friendly, and fiercely dedicated to his staff, clients, friends, family and those 2 amazing dogs. I had the pleasure of working with Patrick for only a few years, and we became friends as well as protégés. I’ll miss his laughter and his funny stories, his honesty and his love and care for all living things. He was indeed a man of character and a character of a man! I’m so privileged to have had Pat as a friend. He was in the truest sense, a mensch.

Condolences to Barbara and the whole family. Time will help make our memories of Pat bigger and brighter, to help fill the void...

much love... Gail

Patrick is one of a kind. He was a joy to be around, always had a smile on his face and would give the shirt off his back to help a friend or fellow colleague. He was someone I looked up to professionally and I am very fortunate to have had my mentor also be my partner. He was a walking encyclopedia and "audit guide". He absolutely loved our profession and was very passionate about it. He was also a good friend and someone who was part of my life everyday for the last 3 years. I miss my partner and friend very dearly. I miss his company at the office and his stories. Rest peacefully
