Patrick had many friends and coworkers throughout his life retiring as a Sergeant in PBSO Vice Squad. He also had many great stories and friendships working PBSO Road Patrol, Detective Bureau and the Juvenile Unit. This is where Patrick’s and Dena’s love story began, working together at the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office over 45 years ago. Patrick also worked at the National Enquirer Security and Production until he began helping out at Dorsey Funeral Home with the family and staff. Patrick and Dena had a fulfilling family life boating, traveling and sharing their lives with family and friends. They especially loved their mountain cabin getaway where they always could travel with their pets.
Patrick never lost his humor, spirit or desire to enjoy his life right up until God took him in his arms. Patrick is a Believer. Patrick always kept his legacy written on a small piece of paper in his wallet and this is what it read: “When the power of LOVE overcomes the LOVE of Power, the World will be a better place to live!”. Thank you to all his awesome Angels at Amazing Grace and Vitas.
Services will be held privately for family.
