Philip Valenti, 97, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away in New York on June 3, 2014. Philip was a butcher by trade and a very successful entrepreneur owning several different businesses. He had a love for his Church, St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church which he dedicated his time and cooked for them. He loved to garden and always wanted to stay busy doing odd jobs. His love for his family and life was extraordinary. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen. Survived by his loving children, Carol (Peter) Fitzsimmons, Phyllis Dorion, Philip (Nancy) Valenti, Marc (Rosemary) Valenti, Patti (Terry) Bird and Bess (Tim) Brown, 13 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. He will be forever loved and missed. A visitation will be held at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home on Sunday, June 8 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM, and 6:00PM to 8:00PM. A Funeral service will be held at St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, 110 Southern Blvd., West Palm Beach, on June 9, 2014 at 10:00AM. Interment to follow at Lake Worth Memory Gardens.
