I will miss my uncle Rene. I am carlos Bova. I enjoyed going to his house to visit him. When I was younger. To visit relatives my favorite thing was to use his restroom it was my favorite thing. I think it was because it was different from mine. I would enjoy the feeling I would get. He was nice enough to let me enjoy his space with him. He will be loved and missed and never forgotten. My theo Rene Gonzales.

Rene was the man everyone would want as their friend, their brother. He is my cousin but more like a brother. We looked forward every October to spend 2 weeks together in Texas. Rene, John, (his trusted sidekick), Virginia and me. He was usually the first to get up and he loved his empanadas every morning with coffee. Rene was full of life. Always ready to do something or go somewhere. He was loving, kind, helpful, funny, knowledgeable and the list goes on. I'll love and miss him forever. God bless him.

Our Condolences to the family. It’s so hard to let go of a good person who was a very good friend, to me and my family. You would always laughed at me whenever I would scold you for whatever reason. You Stubborn ass! Hope Mary Ellen is pulling on your ears now. Rene, you will be miss. May the Good Lord have you in Peace with your lovely wife Mary Helen. Rest In Peace Dear Friend!

Oh, the memories of Rene stored in my mind throughout the years. A loving, caring, adventurous, kid at heart kind of man. As a friend said it was like he never met a stranger. He advised, he scolded, he laughed, he danced, he lived and above all he loved. Although we all know none of us are meant to stay here forever, it’s gonna take forever to get used to you being gone. I love you, your family loves you and you will be sorely missed. Enjoy spending eternity dancing on those streets of gold with the love of your life. Rest in paradise father-n-law! May God comfort the family as you sleep forever in peace. ❤️ -Heidi
