I just recently was made aware of Rich's passing and wanted to let the amazing DeRosa family how sorry I am of their loss.

Rarely do you find a more kind hearted man along with his warm smile and his firm handshake.

I have a lot of wonderful memories of him that makes me smile and I will think of him often.


Absolutely beautiful and touching services. Uncle Richie was the best when I was going through my treatments he would bring me all the books he was done reading.  We enjoyed the same authors. Love you and miss you all Julie Martin

I cannot begin to quantify the loss I feel with your passing. It is hard to imagine this life without you in it. Your laughter, your smile, your voice.  I will keep your words close to my heart as I walk through life, drawing strength from all the wisdom you shared with me. Richard was a wonderful father and great person.  I have great family memories of him and his sister and brothers.  I saw your father last at my 90th birthday party - thank you for coming!  My deepest sympathies to his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren,  and sister/brothers.

We miss you!  We will be forever grateful for all of the fun and smiles and kindness you shared with us over so many years. Uncle Richie was such a wonderful person. He had a smile for everyone and lit up every family gathering with his warmth. He will be greatly missed.

My heart is broken to learn of Richard's passing. Though I have not spoken with him for years, I have thought of him often and will always be profoundly grateful that I spent 15 years at DeRosa Printing working with such a WONDERFUL boss and mentor.  I have often told people I have been in contact with that Richard DeRosa was an outstanding person to work with, to learn from . . .an individual who expected much but who also was more compassionate and caring than anyone I have known since. He had such an enthusiasm for life and an unending sense of humor. In fact, although he was a great business person, he loved nothing better than "sitting in the front window" of the DeRosa Printing office, smoking his cigarettes (no cigars inside)listening to the presses whirring  and just telling story after story, joking  or giving pieces of advice to anyone who would listen. When his family members would stop in it was an exceptional treat to see them interact. Frank was like another "pea in a pod" with his brother.  I am so thankful to God for those 15 years at DeRosa Printing and my association with such a GREAT MAN and his family. May you all be comforted through the memories that you share and the love he gave you all.    Lynn Follett

Rich hired me on 7/11/67 at Aetna. He was a terrific manager and we became good friends.  Two years ago,  after not seeing Rich for over twenty years, we had the chance to play golf and talk about old times.  I'm so thankful that our Lord brought Rich into my life. I will miss him. God bless his beautiful family. 

Dear DeRosa Family,
I’m so very sorry for your tremendous loss.   What an amazing man, father, grandfather and friend Richie was.   Always made us girls smile and laugh, he was always so honest with everybody so you knew how he felt, and certainly you knew where you stood with him (lol).    

Now he is reunited with the love of his life, and will always be looking over all of you.    

May you all hold those memories with him  close to your heart, and God give you the strength to get through this difficult time.   You are all in my heart and prayers.

Our sympathy and love goes out to the entire DeRosa family in the loss of such a wonderful man.  It’s hard to imagine a world without Richie DeRosa- his love for family, warm sense of humor, his direct and honest manner, his quiet generosity and his easy acceptance of friends to his family.  And yet all these qualities can easily be seen in the legacy, values and ways of his children and even his grandchildren!  May the great blessing of his life live on in your hearts and may you rest knowing Richie has been promoted to heaven where we will one day meet again ❤️

Sending prayers for peace and comfort to the entire DeRosa family.  I didn’t know him that well but what I heard sure made him a very special man.  He has to be so proud the family he raised . What a great send off to heaven with everyone beside him.!
