Rich will always be remembered for playing dominos with us, for a good laugh and for starting every response to a question with.... MAAAAAN! 
He was an upstanding man with an eagerness to help others and is in our thoughts every day. You are missed brother.

I was friends with Scully when I lived in summit run. I was older than him but I remember playing basketball and we always ended up being in the same team. I have great memories with him laughing at the clubhouse to the late hours. I remember one time some guys came over and wanted to fight them and I showed up and said I will fight 1 well the other  guy try to jump me and scully grabbed him by the neck and said your not going to jump my friend. He always had your back no matter what. It’s been years since I seen him but one day I will see him again. Miss you Scully and thank you for all the great memories and laughs. 

I've known Rich for over 20 years.  It is hard to sum up a friendship like this in just a few words. Rich was the type of guy that was there for everyone. Always made everyone laugh by saying the most inappropriate things. He loved his friends, playing dominoes, all the pets, and just hanging out.  Rich is so missed by so many. He touched so many lives and you can't ever forget a guy like this. He was one of a kind. I wish for one more game of dominoes, or one more night out, or one more time we could all just hang out together again. I think about him often and always will. Rest peacefully my friend. I miss you like crazy! 

Rich was the friend everyone needed in life. He was honest, always willing to help you at the drop of a dime and would let you know when it was time to step things up if you were slacking. You could only respect individuals like that and be so lucky to call them a friend. He meant so much to so many people. I was one of those people and felt truly blessed to have had you in my life. Love you brother!!! tears still rolling! Always in my heart never forgotten!!!! 

When Richard was about 5 years old he got off the elevator on the wrong floor at Macy's. Of course I panicked and had to wait until the elevator went back down again so I could find him. When the doors opened, there he was sitting and talking to an elderly man.  When the man saw me, he asked how old Richard was. I asked him why he wanted to know. He said he could not believe that a boy his age could carry on such an adult conversation and use such big words. I thanked him for the compliment but I was not surprised. He had a large vocabulary for his age.  Richard was my bright and shiny star, and I know his star is shining from the heavens now.  I will remember you every day until I see you again. Rich - thank you for being a great friend.  Even though I was your sister’s best friend you were still there for me whenever I needed you.   You will be missed.  XOXOXOXO 

Rich. I am lucky to say that he is my brother in law. He was a constant visitor while both he and my husband were stationed in the Navy in Norfolk, VA. He remained a true friend/brother to me after separating from the Navy moving to Florida, and even after my divorce. He always called to check on me and Aubri to make sure that we were doing okay. I talked with him recently before his passing.  I'll miss his calls and texts.  May you rest in peace Rich. Continue to watch down on us from your new seat in heaven. Beautiful ceremony last night, so sad to see you go.  One of our fondest memories from our time in Florida is how we became part of your family and you became part of ours.  We'll think of you with a smile every time we toast your memory with a Grey Goose & Cranberry.  Rest in peace, we'll miss you.

When I was 10 years old , I ran into a metal pole, it went through my leg, your brother carried me all the way home. That’s kind of friend and brother you want in your life ..

You would lean slightly back, raise a half closed fist to your mouth so no one could see your teeth, shoulders clinched up, and you would start chuckling like a little kid up to no good.
And it was contagious.
And it was perfect.
And you will be missed.

Richard was always a barrel of laughs! I used to call him Richard retardo, he would call me Tara tuna and Medusa! Our latest nickname for each other was Doo-Doo.  My mom would always break up our fights and if she was yelling at him I would stick out my tongue and make faces that only he could see. One thing was always true we had each other’s back no matter what! 
I remember him chasing me through our house with right guard in the aerosol form and then lighting it on fire chasing me. He would also put my hand in warm water while I slept in hopes I would pee the bed! Regardless of that I always wanted to be like him. I would play his Nintendo when he was out with his friends, borrow his remote control cars and always wanted to hang out with him. One night he Hot-wired the neighborhood golf cart and we went for a spin with our cousin Michael. He was mischievous but in a fun way! He also wired our next door neighbor’s door bell so he could ring it from our house we used to peak through the fence and watch him come outside confused and we would be laughing and giggling while we drove him nuts. He also let me drive his Camaro at our aunt Pat’s house and I was going 75 in their neighborhood and she threw us both out! Apparently that’s too fast for a neighborhood. 😊  

We have so many memories together but as we got older he stopped tormenting me and we were the best of friends.

All my friends and family who knew him loved Rich. He was always willing to  help anyone and he  was always very protective of me. He loved his brother in law Mario like his own brother and he loved all my girlfriends (sisters) and they loved him. I love his laugh and his warm heart! He was strong and tough but he had a heart of gold! I will miss him for the rest of my life! 

Dolores, Tara and Mario, We are all shocked and saddened by Richie’s passing. One of the best memories was with Dad and Rich when he was about 5 years old. When they showed up in matching tuxedos at Robert and Amy’s wedding, it was awesome! When Robert went over to hug Richie he said “Watch the suit”. LOL! We love you. We send all our prayers and condolences to the three of you, the entire family as well as all who loved Rich.
