My  Family, the Gradeks, have had a special connection to the Zaluski Family for over 75 years. My Mom and Dad, Doc & Arnetta Gradek used to "Double Date" with Chester and Elsie in the 1930's. Doc & Chester always greeted each other in their native tongue...Polish. Marlyne (Richs Sister) married Butch Karp who I have known since the "Little League" and "Sandlot" Days. He and my older brother Arnie were about the same age. I know Janice, Rich's Sister, from our teen years as promising gymnasts. Rich II went to school with my son Shaun, and graduated the same year.Shaun also went to Prom with Tracy Karp, Butch and Marlyne's daughter. My daughter Lori went to school with Rich's son Ron, and considered him one of her best friends, and remained social friends until Ron left for Montana. 

I have much love and admiration for all the Zaluski's and their extended family. There was not a kinder, more soft spoken man than Rich Zaluski. God has now added a gentle soul to his flock.

Dear Hannah....Though we don't know one another, I feel like I do, through Jimmy & Barb.  I am sad to hear about Richie, and I just wanted to tell you I'm glad you were a part of his life...and to have shared so much the last 7 or 8 years.  I can only remember our youth (in the high school band together)...and how cute he was and how sweet he was.  May you keep the best of memories in your heart.
