“Bob”

Bob Baker, age 61, of Atlantis, Florida, passed away suddenly Tuesday morning, April 12, 2011. He was born in Tarrytown, New York, son of the late Elizabeth Bocek Baker and Edward Baker. Bob was a retired Major in the United States Army. Bob was also a fourth degree knight in the Knights of Columbus and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lake Worth, Florida. Bob worked in the manufacturing industry for over thirty-five years. He enjoyed teaching classes in business at Palm Beach State College, fishing, and most of all spending time with his family.

Bob leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife and best friend of forty-one years, Barbara Baker; son, Robert Baker, Jr. and wife Kristina of Lake Worth, FL, daughter, Nikki Baker Miciotta of Lake Worth, FL, and son, Philip Baker and wife Christina of Lake Worth, FL; five grandchildren, Lee and Grace Baker, and Ariana, Alexia, and Alektra Miciotta; and is survived by three brothers and three sisters.

Viewing and visitation will be held Sunday, April 18, 2011, from 5-7:00 PM at Dorsey E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home, Lake Worth. The funeral mass will be held Monday, April 19, 2011, at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
