

Rogerio was a devoted husband, father, and family man who valued love, hard work, and togetherness. He was a self-taught diesel mechanic who took pride in his skills and dedication. In his free time, he enjoyed dancing, grilling, playing dominos and checkers, solving word-fill puzzles, and spending time with his beloved pets. Above all, he loved spoiling his wife and being surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Rafaela; his daughters, Irma and Sonia (Zenon) Cortez; his sons, Rogerio Jr., Ruben (Stephanie), Jesse, and chosen son Cesar Claudio; as well as 36 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Salvador Maldonado and Ramon (Paulina) Maldonado; and his sisters, Catarina Martinez and Mary (Daniel) Perales.
Rogerio was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco Sr. and Guadalupe Maldonado; his brothers, Francisco Jr., Magarito, Guadalupe, and Manuel; and his sisters, Carmen Maldonado and Esperanza Flores.
He also leaves behind extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
Rogerio will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461, on May 1, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A Religious Service will be held at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461, on May 1, 2026, at 5:00 pm.
