With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of RoseMarie “Roe” Cogott, a woman whose life was a testament to compassion and strength. RoseMarie, age 86, passed away on March 24, 2025 after a long battle with illness. Born on August 26, 1938, in Brooklyn, New York she dedicated her life to raising her family in New Jersey.
RoseMarie was predeceased by her husband David Cogott, and her son Dave. She is survived by her devoted daughter Susan, and sons , Christopher and Douglas. RoseMarie was a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, a role that brought her immense joy throughout her life.
An avid reader, talented painter, and passionate crocheter, RoseMarie had a deep love of animals and the New York Yankees. Her creative spirit and compassionate heart touched the lives of many.
A funeral service will be held at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, Florida at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the ASPCA.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
