Ruby was preceded in death by her husbands, Joyce Burdette and Roy Lawson: parents, Arthur Phillips and Lou Taylor Miller; and sister, Athea Kelly. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Courson; sisters, Lois Bell (husband, Lamar) of Sebastian, FL and Billie Conners of Athens, TN; grandsons, Terrall Wayne Courson Jr., and Bradford Clifford; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 12:00PM to 2:00PM, with a funeral service following at 2:00PM on Saturday, June 25, at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home. Entombment at Lake Worth Memory Gardens.
