Shirley was born June 18,1935 in New Britain, CT. She was the first daughter of Alfred O. Cliff and Lillian B. (Bacon) Cliff. Shirley had celebrated 63 years of marriage June 21, 2019 to Clifford O. Rice (who is now deceased).
Shirley was a devoted mother to 9 children. Nancy, John ( deceased) Tom, Susan ( deceased) Ruth, Jim, Lois, Paul & Charles. They had 17 grandchildren ( 1 deceased) and 10 great grandchildren.
Shirley was very involved in her church in women's ministry and in children's ministry and missions.
She loved crafting, knitting, sewing, crochet, needlepoint, and quilting.
Shirley will be greatly missed by family and friends and all who knew her.
A small Funeral Service for the immediate family only ( due to Covid-19) will be held at Dorsey E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3041 Kirk Rd, Lake Worth, FL 33461 on Thursday, May 7th.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to your church in mom's memory to missions or children's ministry to further share God's love to others.
