Born on April 5, 1953 in Barrio Roberto L. Pettit, Paraguay he was the son of the late Águedo and Maria Ester (Alonso) Benitez.
Vincent loved engines and worked as transmission specialist for over 25 years. He was an avid soccer fan, cheering loudly for his National team Albirroja or Club Olimpia. Music was his other passion and he could be seen either singing and strumming his guitar or playing his favorite music, Kachaka.
Vincent is survived by his wife Sixta of 37 years, daughters Cynthia and Sabrina, brothers Rogelio, Jose Maria and Juan Angel and sisters Nidia, Kuka, and Kela and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.
A Funeral Mass for Vincent will be held Monday, April 9 at 11:00 AM at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 6090 Hypoluxo Road, Lake Worth, FL. A cremation will occur at Gold Coast Crematory, Fort Lauderdale, FL.
