

William Charles Gale Sr., 80, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at his home in Greenacres, FL. He was surrounded by the ones he laughed with, lived for and loved.
Born August 21, 1934 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, to Morris and Dorothy (Bloomfield) Gale, William grew up in Winfield Park, New Jersey. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Erlangen, Germany, where he met his loving wife of 53 years, Renate Gale.
William is survived by his wife Renate, son William Charles Gale Jr., and daughter Susan Weldgen. He was a loving grandfather to Brian and Alina Gale, and Jason and Matthew Weldgen. William also leaves behind sisters Elaine Conklin and Dorothy Randesi, and his brother Jack Gale. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Dorsey-Earl Smith Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461 at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2015. An inurnment will be held at 10:30 a.m. at South Florida National Cemetery at 6501 S State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449.

Their dedication and service to provide quality care in his final days was truly a heartwarming blessing to the entire family. We thank God for the gift of his life and the blessing of the time we spent with him.
