Age 80 of Greenacres, FL passed away June 29, 2016. He was born to Leon and Anna Robbins in Neptune, New Jersey. He was a barber by trade and a volunteer firefighter in New Jersey. Bill served in the Coast Guard. He retired after 17 years with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. He enjoyed golf, classic TV and his beloved dogs. He will be remembered for his colorful personality and wonderful sense of humor. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Mary; daughters, Renee (John) Redfern and Lynn Sanchez; son, Michael Philipson; brother, Leon Robbins; step-children, Kevin Kingsley and Connie (Karl) Fridd; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to be made to: Wounded Warriors Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
