Born on June 19, 1927 in Pawtucket RI she was the daughter of the late Joaquim and Virginia (Marques) Lopes. She attended St. Luke Catholic Church in Palm Springs.
She was a life long member of the União Portuguesa Beneficente in Pawtucket, RI. She also enjoyed sewing, needlepoint, gardening, stained glass and playing cards. She was a devoted mother and cared about others.
She is survived by her son Steven J. Goyette of Waldwick, NJ, his wife Lisa A. Davis and granddaughter Rachael J. Goyette.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her son Edward Omer Goyette.
A Memorial Mass will be held on March 10 at 10am at St. Luke Catholic Church, 2892 S. Congress Avenue, Palm Springs, FL. Inurnment will take place at Mount St. Mary’s Cemetery in Pawtucket, RI at a later date.
