Born in Adelaide, South Australia, on November 30, 1970, to Timothy Lee and Brenda Joyce (Crane) Davis, Brian spent his earliest years surrounded by the distinctive beauty of the Australian landscape. He was baptized in the Protestant Lutheran Church in Alice Springs before he eventually chose to make his home in the Denver area.
Brian possessed a hands-on spirit and a natural curiosity about how things worked. He attended Denver Academy in Denver, Colorado, graduating in June 1990. After high school, he put his practical skills to work in the construction and air-conditioning installation industry, developing expertise in HVAC systems and regional building codes throughout the Denver area.
Brian’s easygoing nature, warmth and generosity drew people to him. Over the years, he built a wide circle of lifelong friends who will remember him fondly and deeply miss his kind heart and generous spirit.
Outside of work, Brian’s greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his loving parents, Timothy and Brenda Davis of Summerville, SC; his sisters, Melina Davis (Jay Crabtree) and Elizabeth Thomas of Richmond, VA; his brother, Jonathan Davis (Lisa) of Hemet, CA; and his former spouse, Stephanie Volk of Denver, CO.
Brian’s memory will live on through his beloved son, Timothy William Davis, and his stepsons, Daniel and Nathan Bowersox, all of Denver, CO. He also leaves behind his nieces, Haley Davis-Martin and Ashley Davis; his nephew, Austin Davis as well as many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Andrew and Jean Davis of Clearwater, FL, and Henry and Addie Crane of Greer, SC.
In accordance with Brian’s wishes, he will be cremated. A private service will be held at a later date, when he will be laid to rest alongside his mother and father.
