

Carol Ann Gillilan, born November 4, 1941, in Colorado, peacefully passed away on August 16, 2024, in her beloved home state. Carol's life was a tapestry of love, resilience, and cherished moments, woven together by the bonds of family and friendship.
Carol was preceded in death by many dear ones who touched her life deeply, including her parents, Osby and Lois; Athalee Tapp, Neil, Martin, and Gary Gunn, Doreen Harmon, Sandra Callahan, and Myrna Pister. Their memories will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew them.
She is lovingly remembered by her devoted sons, Rick (Tama) Gunn and Randy (Mary) Athanites. Carol was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren, a doting great-grandmother to seven great-grandchildren, and a delighted great-great-grandmother to one great-great-grandchild. Her family, including Dolores Goethe, Joan (Claudia) Gunn, Sue (Nancy) Hurckman, and Kristine Gunn, will continue to honor her legacy with the values and love she imparted.
Carol's warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Her life, full of grace and compassion, leaves an enduring imprint on her family and friends. A celebration of her life and the memories she created will be held in the days to come, reflecting the love and joy she brought into the world.
A Celebration of Carols life will be held at Randy and Mary's house on September 14th at noon. The family has asked that In lieu of flowers, donations be made to Childrens Hospital and the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
