

Charlie will be forever remembered by his loving wife of 20 years, Lorraine, children Charles (Cindy), David (Claudia), Megan (Eric), stepdaughter Margaret (Steve), and stepson-in-law Tim, ten grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Violet and Charles, his brother Thomas, stepdaughter Natalie, and grandson Alexander. Charlie will also be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and dear friends.
Charlie was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on September 15, 1942, grew up in Woodstock, Connecticut, and went on to graduate from the Colorado School of Mines in 1967. He spent almost 40 years working for the United States Department of the Interior as a payment manager.
Following retirement, Charlie continued pouring his time into things he enjoyed: volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, Colorado Heritage Camps, and at Bethlehem Lutheran Church building musical sets for church productions. He also loved cooking for his family and friends.
A Celebration of Charlie’s life will be held at 11 a.m., August 6, 2018 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 2100 North Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80214.
Memorial donations may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or Habitat for Humanity.
