Charles E. Herbertson, "Chuck" was born April 25, 1944. He lived in and around Denver working as a machinist and loved tools. According to his guardian, Katey Hurst, he was a sweet man who had a wonderful sense of humor and loved his cat.
Having been married twice, he could say with Alfred, Lord Tennyson, "Tis better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all." Which the poet wrote in memoriam at the death of his college friend. It's hard to capture 80 years of living and loving in a few sentences, but Chuck will be missed.
Chuck will be laid to rest at Olinger Highland Cemetery, 10201 N. Grant St. Thornton, CO 80229, later.
