Christopher Joseph Tafoya, 36 years old, was unexpectedly called home by the Lord on Saturday, April 26th 2014. He was living in Littleton, CO at his childhood home with his beloved grandparents, Leroy and Silvia Romero.
Although he would probably tell you he was born in Hollywood, Christopher was born in Denver, Colorado on August 12th 1977. He is survived by his two beautiful children, Kylei and Tyson, his mother and father, Helen and Miguel, Sr., his brothers Miguel Jr., Nicholas, and Manuel, and his sisters Sherry, Sandy, and Schanel. Chris was also a husband, brother, godfather, uncle, cousin, nephew, grandson and friend to a countless number of people whom he loved dearly.
Christopher was predeceased by his wife Leigh Anne, sister-in-law April, Uncle Joseph, and his best friend Brendan Bing, who were all undoubtedly waiting for him at the gates of heaven.
Chris had a passion for music; he was a skilled dancer and an awarded football and rugby player. Most recently, Chris found his talent for art and design, and had hoped to begin a clothing line. Additionally, Chris loved Jesus, Mexican Food, Corn Nuts, Sleepy Time Tea, and his miniature Yorkie, Sancho Piñon, but it was his love for his family and friends that he treasured most of all.
Chris should be remembered for his strength, courage, passion, honor, humor and love. He had a unique, beautiful spirit, and the outpouring of love and support by the people whose lives he touched is a testament to his never-ending presence in this world.
