It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Danielle Nicole LaFrance. Dani passed away on February 12, 2025, in Lakewood, Colorado. She was born on October 14th in Key West, Florida to Mark and Sherrie. Dani was a long-time resident of Summit County, and spent many cherished years in Silverthorne. She was known for her adventurous spirit, a true lover of the Rocky Mountains, where she spent countless hours hiking, enjoying the beauty and serenity that the mountains brought her.
Dani had a creative soul, and crafting was a passion she poured her heart into. A trip to Hobby Lobby was more than just shopping for her—it was an all-day event, with packed snacks, that sparked her creativity and joy. Her creativity extended to every part of her life, from the simple things to the meaningful moments shared with those she loved.
Dani had a deep love for animals and children, and she was eagerly anticipating the birth of her niece, Annika. Her nurturing spirit was clear to all who knew her. She was pursuing her dreams of becoming an EMT, and she had aspirations to one day become a nurse or a doctor, driven by a deep desire to help and care for others.
She is survived by her beloved partner of six years, Charlie; her parents, Mark (Libby) and Sherrie (Bob); her sister, Brittni (Sean); her niece on the way, Annika; and her grandmother, Alice Mae. Dani will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, and unwavering love for her family, friends, and all living things.
A celebration of Dani's life will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 2-6PM at 10 Mile Musical Hall, 710 Main Street, Frisco, CO 80433.
Rest in peace, Dani. You will be deeply missed.
