

Donald R. Alexander, 82, passed away surrounded by his loving family on October 22, 2016 at his home in Broomfield, Colorado. Donald was born on February 21, 1934 in Madison County, Iowa to Raymond and Lucille (Clark) Alexander. Donald married his High School sweetheart Louise Bruett, on graduation night, May 28th, 1952. Donald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Donald owned and operated Don’s Sinclair Station in Winterset until 1969 when the family moved to Colorado. He then was part owner and Vice President of All-Quip rental and Sales and finished his career in Real Estate.
Donald is survived by his wife of 64 years, Louise (Bruett) Alexander of Broomfield, Colorado; daughters Patsy (Rick) Vigil of Arvada, Colorado and Connie Schultz of Golden, Colorado; brothers John (Sherri) Alexander of Centennial, Colorado and Eddie Alexander of Montrose, Colorado; Grandchildren Heather Vigil, Cory (Kat) Vigil, Patrick Vigil, and Alicia Barba; and 6 Great Grandchildren, Justin, Jerrika, Jordan, Hailey, Chelsea, and Troy. Many other family members, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Donald was preceeded in death by his parents, sisters Delores Alexander and Ann young; and brother Eugene Alexander.

A reception will be held at the Gate N Green Clubhouse, located at 13405 Main Street, Broomfield, CO at 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm following the 10AM services at the Crown Hill Cemetery on October 27.
