Donald D. Lucero was born on July 2, 1938 in Denver, Colorado to Carrie Bustos and Emil Lucero. At 80 years old, Donald passed away on November 1, 2018 in the comfort of his home surrounded by the love and support of family and friends. Donald was a dedicated civil rights activist during the 60’s-80’s, a proud veteran of the US Army, and a devoted father to his son, Fernando Lucero, and daughter, Brenda Lucero. He is survived by his children and loving wife of 45 years, Georgina Lucero.
