Dorothy Louise (Padilla) Apodaca, commonly known as Dottie passed away on August 12, 2026, at the age of 87. She was born on April 30, 1939 in Weldona, Colorado to Pete and Nellie Padilla. In 1970, she married her beloved husband, William. They were married for 56 years.
Dorothy was a devoted mother whose greatest pride and joy was her family. Her warmth and gentle spirit touched everyone she met. She is survived by her husband, William; children, Michelle Moore, Susan Apodaca, Bill (Pattie) Apodaca; grandchildren, Alexandar Moore, Aylandria Apodaca, Deianira Apodaca; great grandson, Emmett Monette; siblings, John, Debbi and Cathie; as well as many extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Dan, Richard and Frank.
A Funeral will be held at Advantage Runyan-Stevenson Capitol, 6425 West Alameda Ave, Lakewood, CO 80226, on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
