Fernando Ray Martinez

Fernando Ray Martinez (Fern) from Denver, Colorado, passed away on Saturday August 16, 2025, at 54 years of age. Born on January 25, 1971, Fern grew up in the Southwest Denver neighborhood of Harvey Park, where he lived with his parents and 3 sisters.

He had a great life growing up with birthdays parties that he had to share with his twin sister that he still enjoyed, and how special our parents made the holidays, and knew that he was loved very much. He loved being outdoors riding his bike, building model cars, he also loved reading, his favorite author being James Patterson. He also had a great sense of humor and liked to dress in random costumes for Halloween.

He is proceeded in death by his Parents, Anthony F. Martinez & Mary Lillian Martinez.

He leaves behind two older sisters, Michelle Norberg (Jon Norberg), Antoinette Martinez; Twin sister Francine Dominguez (Roman Dominguez), Daughter Mariah Mendez (Amanda Medina); 3 nieces, Felicia Suazo, Whitney Ayala-Dominguez (Adam Ayala), Ciana Bertaud (Hector Bertaud); his nephew, Emilio Norberg; three great nephews, Dominic Rocha, Julian Rocha, and Noah Ayala; two great nieces, Rhiana and Mila Ayala, Girlfriend Felicia Gurule.

The family would like to thank the hospital staff and the ICU /hospice nurse Jennifer at Common Spirit. In

his final days, she was so compassionate and caring.

Memorial Services will be held at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services. 6425 W Alameda Ave Lakewood, CO 80226. Friday September 26, 2025, 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
