Gillian is survived by her brother Brian, sister Barbara, brother-in-law David, nephews Stephen and Russell, niece Becky and great-nieces Elle-Leigh and Effie.
As a family we all miss Gill a lot. She came to visit us in England as often as possible, where she met her great-niece. She enjoyed walking, being outside, and she enjoyed volunteering at Foothills Animal Shelter most of all, looking after the cats and sometimes fostering them. That’s where she met her beloved cat, Coco.
Unfortunately, when the pandemic hit, we were no longer able to visit each other as much but Gillian and Barbara would have a weekly video call every Sunday, still finding a way to be close to the people she loved. Her family in the UK always lit up with joy at the receiving of long-awaited Christmas presents delivered from Gill in America!
The family would like to thank Gill’s friends and neighbors for looking out for her in her final years.
