Javin Scott Odegard

Javin Scott Odegard was born in Denver, Colorado on October 1, 1989. He was a proud Denver Native. Javin loved to ride his bike - especially in Downtown Denver. He worked for Patagonia and as a bike courier. He loved being a bike courier and getting paid to do what he loved.

Javin also had a love of metal. He spent countless hours listening to his favorites, including Motor Head. Whenever he could he would eat something spicy - Santiago's or Tacos Los Compos. Carne asada tacos with green chili were his favorite.

He had soft spots too, like for his turtle Ramona, and hitting the piñata at Cheeseman Park. And don't forget his love of anything expensive, like his one in 600 leather jacket, and his expensive black jeans. He would make his family and friends laugh and roll their eyes at his bougie-ness.

Javin passed away very unexpectedly on June 26, 2022. He was a bright light who will be missed by his father, Sedelio; sister, Lavita; nieces and nephews, Josiah, Xavier, and Nevaeh; girlfriend, Morgan; his turtle, Ramona; many friends and extended family members.

A funeral service for Javin will be held Friday, July 15, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Advantage Runyan Stevenson, 6425 West Alameda Ave, Lakewood, CO 80226. A gathering and celebration will be held at Cheeseman Park on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 5PM - and yes, there will be a pinada.

Javin will be laid to rest in Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery, later.
