Jeannette Christensen, 61, of Denver , died Friday October 17, 2014. She was born to the late Frank and Stella Popish, May 14, 1953 in Denver, CO. Jeannette graduated high school in 1971 and went on to study cosmetology. Jeannette was a proud mother. She believed she was put on this earth to be a mother. Jeannette was also an avid animal lover. She was known to have compassion for even the most undesirable animals. Jeannette loved fishing, a pastime she loved sharing with family and friends. Jeannette is survived by her daughter Angela Christensen; siblings: Diana Estores, Carol Yasui, Mark Popish; mom Diann Popish. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Denver Dumb Friends League.
A life celebration will be held on Sunday, October 26, at Peak Community and Wellness Center, located at 6612 S. Ward Street, Littleton, CO 80127 from 1-4pm.
