

John graduated from Sanford High School in 1959. He proudly served in the Navy and often talked about the places he visited, Japan, The Philippines, Hawaii and San Francisco.
He worked as truck driver until he retired at the age of 58.
John enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos, Nuggets, Rockies and Avalanche. John attended mass weekly and had strong faith in God. He also liked going to Blackhawk with his son Steven and brother-in-law Urby.
He was preceded in death by his parents Juan Bautista Rendon, Bersabel (Bertha) Salazar Rendon, his daughter Shaunna Rendon and brother Gilbert Rendon.
John is survived by his wife Elisa, sons John (Kristie), Steven, Aaron and grandsons Brandon and Sean. He is also survived by his brothers Frank, Arnold, Jose, Thomas, and his sisters Sara Quintana, Josie Gallegos, and Susie Turner.
John enjoyed playing golf with his friends and relatives, sons and his grandson Brandon. He also enjoyed bowling with his sons and grandsons. You could also find John at his grandson Brandon’s baseball games. He traveled to Cooperstown New York in 2012 to watch Brandon play in the Cooperstown Dreams Park Tournament. The memories of this trip will last a lifetime with his Grandson Brandon, John, Kristie and Sean.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Our Lady of Presentation at 695 Julian St, Denver, CO 80204 on August 20th at 10:00 Rosary and 11:00 Mass. Visitation with the family will begin at 9:30 AM. Interment to follow at Ft. Logan National Cemetery located at 4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236.
