John Frank Smith

He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on July 26, 1932. John Frank Smith graduated from Northeast High School.

He married Willa Mae Smith on October 4, 1984.

John worked as a supervisor for Vendo for26 years and for JC Penney for 20 years. He also was a member of the United States Military for 2 years, serving in the Army as a Still Photo Tech, reaching the rank of Corporal.

He had a passion for fishing, travel, gambling, hunting, football, baseball, family time, sharing stories, and western novels. He also loved Volkswagen Beatles.

He is survived by his wife Mae, his children; Michael A. Smith, Steven J. (Diane) Smith, Barbara J. (Geoffrey) Clark, Nancy K. (Joe) McQuillan, Summer (Ramiro) Rodriquez. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren, and his sisters; Shirley (Bill, deceased) Allen, Sandra (Clell) Mock, and Judy (Mike, deceased) Klug.

There will be a funeral service on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Twelve O’clock noon at Advantage Runyan Stevenson Trevino Funeral Home, 6425 West Alameda Ave, Lakewood, CO 80226.

In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions may be made to John’s wife Mae to assist with the funeral cost.
