John will be remembered for his relaxed demeanor and his wit. He enjoyed watching TV, visiting the casinos, and was a foodie. He always had something funny to say. John was skilled at working on his car and loved being outside doing so. He was handy too, not just on vehicles. He will be deeply missed.
John is survived by his sister, Dolores; 10 nieces and nephews and 26 great nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
Visitation will be held at Advantage Runyan Stevenson, 6425 West Alameda Ave, Lakewood, CO 80226, on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, followed by the Rosary at the same location at 6:00 pm.
A Committal Service will take place at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033, on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
