Joseph Arnold Broom, also called, "Papa", age 87, of Denver, Colorado passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025. Known for his gentle essence and charming yet humble spirit, Joseph leaves behind a loving family who so cherished him for the character he was, as well as the lasting impact he gifted to all who knew him. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sonja, who can reminisce their 44 yearlong love story full of happy memories, great adventures, road trips with the traditional pit stop at Cracker Barrell, and Joseph's happy and kind soul. Of all his life journeys, he was most proud of his time served in the US Airforce and his efforts in giving life to the Wings of the Rockies.
Joseph will be remembered for his honor, his valiance, and the insurmountable love he had for his friends and family.
A visitation for Joseph will be held Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Southwest Assembly of God, 3199 S Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, CO 80227, with a Celebration of Life and Reception to follow. His internment will occur Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Olinger Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery - Crown Hill, 7777 W 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
