Kristi was a loving daughter, sister and mother, born in Colorado on February 3, 1972, to James and Lynn Michael. Kristi was preceded in death by her father James Michael and her common law husband, Greg W. Beecher. She is survived by her mother, Lynn Michael; sister, Charlene Lowe; brother David Michael and the better parts of her, her children; Elizabeth, Katrina, Jazmine & Nathan; as well as many extended family & friends who loved her dearly.
Kristi graduated from Arvada High School. We all know how much love and passion she had for cars and pretty colors, so she created a life by co-owning Aurora Radiator and always decorated to her own inspirations. She co-owned Aurora Radiator with Greg for over a decade and worked with vehicles for more than half her life. She always wanted to go fast, live a free life, just like a sports car. She loved to color and draw, and she would always carry a set of gel pens. Coloring gave small comfort in just being. Most recently she was found sharing her love of color and art by painting the flowers of her grandparents’ headstones. She had a huge heart, and she was always going to help you if you needed it. She was fiercely independent and was always full of fire. Her favorite color was purple and she loved crystals, especially amethyst. She loved her classic 90’s alternative rock music and would dance like no one is watching. Kristi was known in her community for her loving and caring nature she could always be counted on to lend a helping hand, and her friends knew and loved her for this.
Her spirit was called home on June 25, 2026, and we all know she’s gonna give heaven a little bit of hell up there 🪽 She was taken too soon at 54 years old in her hometown.
She was very loved and will be deeply missed.
A private memorial will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, in Boulder, Colorado.
