It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leonard James Snyder, a beloved rock n' roll drummer, talented painter, jack of all trades, and the funniest guy you would ever meet. If you knew him, you were laughing. He would light up a room and everyone's heart would dance with joy. He left us on July 1, 2026 unexpectedly. Born in Denver, Colorado he grew up in a vibrant musical environment that shaped his passion for drumming and the arts. He eventually moved to Grand Junction, where he became an integral part of the community and continued to inspire those around him with his creativity and spirit.

Lenny was not just a musician, he was a master at everything he attempted. A true honorable man, he approached life with enthusiasm and dedication, earning the admiration of family and friends alike. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who's love knew no bounds.

He is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie; their children, Timothy Davis, Nathan Bowersox and Daniel Bowersox; as well as grandchildren, Axel and Adelynn Bowersox and another granddaughter due in a few weeks; his daughter, Dannette Daskam (Andrew Oliver); grandchildren, Kendra Rayann (Jesse Bingham), Kortney Nicole, Keyana Jaydan, Jason James (Kate) Snyder, Sydney Black, Reiler Silor, and Kingston, all of Grand Junction, Colorado; as well as granddaughter, Lacey Marie of Texas. He is preceded in death by his great-grandson, Samuel Dean.

Leonard was not just a generous and loving husband, father, step-father and grandfather, he was our hero and will be remembered for his selflessness and strength, often going above and beyond to help others and for his love for his family.

Lenny, your legacy will live on along with your rhythm in the hearts of all who knew you. You left us with memories, stories and laughs that we will never forget. Rest In Peace. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
