
Louis was born to Oscar and Mildred Harding and grew up in the Denver and Englewood areas. He attended Littleton High School and later pursued college courses at Arapahoe Community College. Louis served in the naval reserves and was known for his dedication and hard work throughout his career.
His professional journey included roles at Gates Rubber Company as a Draftsman, Dell Publications as a Salesman, and service with The City of Sheridan and Arapahoe County on their road crews. Louis found community and spiritual fulfillment as a longtime member of Atonement Lutheran Church in Lakewood.
Louis had a deep love for German Shepherd Dogs and was passionate about horse racing. Known for his caring nature and unwavering work ethic, Louis was described as a family man with the patience of a saint. While reserved and quiet, he had a presence that commanded respect when he meant business.
Louis is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Janice Harding, and their children: Cheryl (Tim) Czarnek, Kenneth Harding, Bradley Harding, and Gregory (Susan) Harding. He was a cherished grandfather to Scott (Kacey) Czarnek, Lindsey (Jeremiah) Czarnek, Ashley (Derrick) Harding Derosset, Heather Harding, Skylar (Kara) Harding, and great-grandfather to Joelynn Bow, Brooke Czarnek, Cole Czarnek, Cash Skrivans, Evelyn Derossett, Vivian Derossett, Winston Derossett, Breckin Comier, Ben Comier, Nixon Comier. He is also survived by his sister Mary Harding, nephews Oscar (Jenni) Harding, Clint (Taylor) Creech, and Charlie Creech.
Louis was preceded in death by his brothers Paul Harding, Michael Harding, and Marion.
A celebration of Louis's life will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 2-4pm at Highlands Ranch Golf Club, 9000 Creekside Way, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129. Friends, family, and acquaintances are invited to join in honoring his memory.
Louis Warren Harding will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his dedication to his work, and his quiet strength that left a lasting impression on all who knew him. His legacy of kindness and hard work will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
