Lucy Vallejos, 93, of Denver, Colorado passed away peacefully on April 2, 2021. She was born on November 9, 1927 in Colorado Springs to Alfred and Delores Garcia and had 5 siblings. She graduated from Palmer High School in 1945. She was married to Leo (Joe) and together they had 4 children. Lucy had a passion for gardening, reading, cooking, baking and fixing puzzles. She loved playing the piano and listening to music. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who saw the good in everyone and had a way of making each of her mijitos y mijitas lindas feel like they were the most precious person in the room.

Lucy is preceded in death by her husband, Leo (Joe), her parents, Alfred and Delores Garcia, her siblings, Edward Garcia, Delores Bailey, Alfred Garcia, Conrad (Babe) Garcia, Roy Garcia and her great-grandson, Anthony Vallejos.

Lucy is survived by her children, Patricia (Ed) Borrego, Alvin (Madeline) Vallejos, Ron (Lorraine) Vallejos Sr., and Judy (Steve) Christensen. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Cheryl, Brenda, Tim, Ron Jr., Stacie, Shawn, Jaime, Shannon, Lisa and Joe. In addition, Lucy is survived by 20 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed beyond measure and live forever in our hearts.
