Lydia Hernandez was born in Cienega de Ojos Azules (Chihuahua), Mexico, on August 18th, 1938 to her parents Dulces Majalca and Jose Hernandez. Our mother had such a beautiful soul. She lived life to the fullest and touched so many hearts with her light. She is a mother of three children that she raised on her own: Sandra Lynn Garcia, Jesus Rolando Garcia, and Karina Adriana Garcia. She was also blessed with five beautiful grandchildren: Alexander Patrick Garcia, Elias Jevon Hernandez, Aaliyah Leandra Hernandez, Thalia Gabriella Cordova, and Francisco Julian Cordova. Lydia loved her family very much, she showed us every day by cooking her best meals and giving us her hugs and kisses every chance she got. She was always there when we needed her. Our mother/grandma will never be forgotten and will always be in our hearts. We love you mom/grandma.
