Heaven has gained another angel! Mary Ellen Trujillo was born August 17th 1956 in Denver. Mary Ellen passed away on Sunday, March 24th, 2019. She was a loving, beautiful, innocent person. Her infectious smile and personality was apparent wherever she was. She loved unconditionally, her love had no boundaries. She helped raise her nieces and nephews without hesitancy. She assisted her mother while she cared for the elderly at San Marino. She enjoyed watching her nephews and nieces play sports and was passionate for the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies.
Mary Ellen enjoyed adventures, like, going to the zoo, Denver History of Nature and Science Museum, shopping, and especially going to Church. She looked forward to attending the Los Trujillo’s Band performances where she would dance the night away.
Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her grandparents and father Joseph Trujillo. She is survived by her mother Marie Trujillo, her sisters, Joann Del Hierro (Mark), Geri Gurule (Barry), brothers, Arnie Trujillo (Laura) and Jubal Trujillo (Tiffany), 27 nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, many cousins and Marie Trujillo’s close friend Joe Archibeque. Her family was her world!
A Visitation/Rosary will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 5 pm to 8 pm with the Rosary at 7, at Advantage Runyan Stevenson-Trevino Mortuary at 6425 W. Alameda Ave., Lakewood, CO 80226. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 4200 Federal Blvd. Denver, CO 80211. Reception to follow in basement of the church.
