Mary Dolores Armendarez Garcia, 81 of Arvada, CO was called home to her Father in Heaven on July 26, 2021. Throughout her whole life, Mary worked hard and overcame countless obstacles due to her Spina Bifida. She also enjoyed being in “the know” and was often found with a newspaper or some article in her hands. Mary was even referred to as “The Walking Gazette”, always ready with any news worthy information or Denver Bronco scores. Mary’s memory will live on through those who survive her; Joe (Emily) Armendarez; grandchildren, Jose, Joshua, Vanessa and Jeneva; 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary has now joined her parents, Romolo and Neva Armendarez; son, Sebastian; brothers, Jose and Jimmy Armendarez; sisters, Virginia Quintana and Josephine Avalos in Heaven.
Per Mary’s request, a private funeral service was held with close friends and family. She now rests peacefully at Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
Her memory and love will continue on in those who loved her and especially those who were kind to her.
