Michael Richard Fierro

Michael (Mike) Richard Fierro died at the age of 64 on July 27, 2022 in Thornton, CO. Mike was born on September 24, 1957 in Loveland, CO to his parents, Joe Epifano Fierro and Thomasa Carrera Miranda. He enjoyed his childhood playing outdoors and spending time with his family. He left school in the 9th grade to go get a job as an upholsterer. He later met his wife, Mary, and they were married in 1974. His happiest times in life were when he was fishing, taking walks with the dogs, cooking, and of course, spending time with his wife, kids, and especially his grandkids. Mike is survived by his wife, Mary Fierro; children, Robert Dominguez, Michael (Shandie) Fierro; Mario Fierro, Margie Rose (Michael) Ochoa, Matthew (Audge) Fierro; Makayla Fierro, Marie Fierro, Louis Fierro; 24 grandchildren; his brother, James Fierro; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, friends, and family friends he "adopted" as children and grandchildren. Mike is preceded in death by his daughter, Maria Fierro; grandchildren, Angel, Joseph, and Ruben; sisters, Guadalupe Alvarez, and Rosie Flores. A memorial service for Michael will be held Friday, August 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Advantage Runyan Stevenson, 6425 West Alameda Ave, Lakewood, CO 80226. A reception will follow at St. Cajetan's Chuch, 299 South Raleigh Street, Denver, CO 80219.
