He graduated from Lincoln High School and retired from Safeway. He never married or had children, but he had many nieces and nephews that he loved as if they were his own. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He was very kind hearted, selfless, happy, and so fun to be around. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, Marilyn Monroe, and Walt Disney movies.
He leaves behind his mother, Beatrice Ortega, brother Raymond Ortega (Angie Ortega), and sister Bernadine Brannan (Ernest Brannan). He was the best and will be missed by so many.
Heaven gained another angel and he is finally home, at peace, with his father, Manuel Ortega, catching up with his Grandmas, Uncles and Aunts that passed before him. One family's loss is another family's reunion.
Until we meet again, rest in peace Mitch.
There will be a reception hosted by Mitchell's family following the committal service at the VFW Lodge
