Mozelle Ann Mckinney

Mozelle Ann McKinney was born in March of 1941, the only child of Robert T. and Eva E. Laughlin. She was born in Ottawa, Kansas and moved with her family to Colorado when she was in grade school. She graduated high school and met Thomas Richard McKinney in Estes Park. They were married in 1959.

Mozelle worked at Rocky Flats her entire career, where she excelled and moved up from a secretary. She and her husband welcomed their two sons, Mark and John. Later in life her family grew with the addition of John's wife Linda and their children Josh and Jena. Mozelle was a dedicated grandmother. She really loved having grandchildren. When Jena got married to Donny and they had Carson, Mozelle was thrilled. There was another baby to love and spoil.

Mozelle loved wine, really any type; and she loved to shop. She said the hardest thing about COVID was not being able to touch the clothes when you wanted to buy them and know what they felt like. She was a beloved wife to Thomas until his passing; a cherished mother to Mark and John (Linda); an amazing grandmother to Josh and Jena (Donny); and a wonderful great-grandmother to Carson. Mozelle will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She will be laid to rest at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery, later.
