Pauletta Faye Ciferri, aged 80, passed away on January 13, 2024, in Hereford, Arizona. Born on March 24, 1943, in Great Bend, Kansas, to Paul Ben White and Hazel Faye White, Pauletta lived a life filled with love, adventure, and cherished connections.
Pauletta graduated from Lewis High School in Lewis, Kansas, in 1963, marking the beginning of a life marked by service and exploration. She joined the US Army and proudly served from 1964 to 1968, stationed in Germany and France. Her dedication earned her the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
In 1978, Pauletta married Gene Ciferri in Golden, Colorado. Although their paths diverged, their friendship endured, holding a special place in each other's hearts. Pauletta found joy in the outdoors, indulging in her love for fishing, camping, and gardening. She also embraced technology, spending countless hours playing the original Nintendo and later enjoying POGO on her computer.
Her greatest source of happiness, however, came from spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Pauletta shared unique bonds with each grandchild, having lived with them at different points in their lives. She eagerly anticipated their visits and treasured the moments spent together.
Known for her unmistakable love for PEPSI, Pauletta always had a fridge full and a cold one in her hand. Her warm and welcoming spirit endeared her to a wide circle of family and friends. Pauletta is survived by Gene Ciferri, her daughter Tanya (Tim) Stinson and their children Natalie, Thomas, and Preston Stinson, her son Daryl (Valerie) Ciferri and their children Andrew, Baillie, Mikolas, Noella, and Weston Ciferri, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Paul White in 1964, mother Hazel White in 1993, and brother Earl White in 1984.
A graveside service will be held at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 West 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033, on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 1 pm, with Army military honors to honor Pauletta's service to her country. Pauletta Faye Ciferri will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, enduring friendships, and the love she shared with her family. May she rest in peace, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and joy.
