

Bob was born on December 15, 1946 in Trinidad, Colorado to Pete Bowman and Mary Anne “Annie” Gonzales. He was raised in Denver attending high school at Denver North. He worked doing machine maintenance at Keebler in Denver before retiring in 2001 after 30 plus years with the company.
Bob had a passion for fishing along with the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rockies and had a love/hate relationship with the Denver Broncos. He was also extremely proud of his 6 grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia, children, Gina (Brian) Tavenner of Commerce City, Dee Dee and Bobby, both of Thornton, step-children, Tina Romero, Sonia Espinoza and Eric Martinez, grandchildren, DJ, Connor, Jaydon, Alyssa, Rylan and Oliviah, siblings, Gerald (Janet) Earring, Stanley (Cindy) Garcia, Leonard Garcia, Lori (Rudy) Lamorie, Darlene Garcia, Phillip Garcia, Becky (Jesse) Castillo and Maxine (Carlos) Castillo. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Annie Garcia and sister Georgia Martinez.
A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 10:30am at Olinger Highland Mortuary Chapel at 10201 N. Grant St., Thornton, Colorado 80229, Inurnment will immediately follow at Olinger Highland Cemetery.
Gathering of family of friends will follow.
