

Born on June 4, 1982 to Frederick and Marianne Small, Sean was a beloved son and brother to his sister Brade Soderstrom, and her husband Heath, and an adoring uncle to his niece, Hayden. His love extended to his grandmother, RuthAnn Mullaney, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a vast circle of friends, all of whom he held close to his heart.
Abbey Humphrey, his devoted partner, was the love of his life and greatest companion through all his adventures. Their love was a beacon of strength and happiness.
Sean's journey through life was a diverse as his interests. He excelled as a left tackle as his time at Mesa State in Grand Junction, where his dedication to sports shone brightly. He was not only an athlete but also a successful professional, working in sales for Leaffilter Gutter Protection and selling cars. He showcased his versatility as a server and bartender, always ensuring those around him had a good time.
Throughout his life, Sean called Denver, Littleton, and Marco Island Florida, his homes, cherishing the beauty and adventures each place offered. His enthusiasm for sports knew no bounds, and he mastered every sport he attempted. His dedication to honing his baseball and golf swings was a testament to his unwavering commitment.
Sean's love for football, baseball, golf, and sports gambling was infectious, and he could often be found sharing his passion with those lucky enough to be in his company. He was not just a sports enthusiast; he was a sportsman in every sense of the word.
One of Sean's remarkable achievements was teaching himself Spanish, showcasing his determination and thirst for knowledge. His love for the ocean, fishing, and the thrill of being on a boat were sources of great joy for him. Animals held a special place in his heart, and his kindness extended to all living creatures.
Above all, Sean's defining qualities were his loyalty, kindness, and protective nature. Being in Sean's presence made everyone feel safe, loved, and cherished. He was a true friend, a loving family member, a devoted partner to Abbey, and a genuine soul.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Sean's honor at Risen Christ Catholic Church, located at 3060 South Monaco Street Parkway, Denver, 80222 at 10:00am.
