Steven Pilger

Steven C. Pilger Sr., was born October 25, 1952 in Douglas Wyoming. He passed away at St. Anthonys Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado on August 31, 2014 at 10:36 p after a long illness at the age of 61 with his loved ones by his side. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Beverly J. Pilger. They were married on November 14, 1971 in Pleasant View, Golden Colorado. To this union was born two girls; Kara Elaine Pilger (Jon Jones) and Angela Kay Hoenighausen (Pilger) (Edward Hoenighausen), 3 sons; Steven C. Pilger Jr., Nathan Allan Pilger and Preston Scott Pilger. Steve is also survived by 6 grandkids; David Beagle, Levi Pilger, Cherokee Pilger, Skylar Lothrop, Dakota Stumpf, Destiny Hoenighausen and one great grandchild, Payton Lothrop. Steve was preceded in death by his son Nathan Allan Pilger and his granddaughter Cherokee R. Pilger who was 8 years old. He is also preceded in death by his mother Ida Frances Clements (Feather) plus many more loved ones. His service will be on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Advantage Runyan Stevenson Chapel located at 6425 West Alameda Ave., Lakewood, CO 80226.

Steve was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He is one who was loved by all who knew him. He is now safely in the arms of Jesus.

Rest in peace Honey!! Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, family member and dear friend. You will be sadly missed. Love you
